Coleophoridae
A family that flies mostly nocturnally, but some species fly during the day, especially in the crupusculum. In Portugal, 130 species are known out of the 650 existing in Europe. Difficult to identify in the adult stage. In the larval stage, it presents specific characteristics with "mining" behaviours - living in tunnels created inside the leaves and/or in "sacs" with specific shapes that help to identify most of the species.
